Terms of Service

3.1 Prohibited Content

You may not use the Service to upload, store, or pin content that:

• Infringes on intellectual property rights (copyright, trademark, patents)
• Contains malware, viruses, ransomware, or other malicious code
• Violates privacy or includes personally identifiable information without consent
• Involves illegal activities (drugs, weapons, fraud, terrorism)
• Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or exploitative content
• Is used for harassment, threats, or bullying
• Violates sanctions or export control regulations

3.2 Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you upload to the Service. You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the right to use and distribute all content you upload
• Your use complies with applicable laws and regulations
• The content does not violate any third-party rights

3.3 Content Removal

Glashaus reserves the right to remove content that violates this policy without liability. We may also suspend or terminate your account if you repeatedly violate these terms.

4.1 Non-Custodial Wallets

Glashaus does not custody your wallet or private keys. You are responsible for:

• Securing your private keys and seed phrases
• Maintaining backup copies in a safe location
• Not sharing your private keys with anyone
• Monitoring your wallet balance and account activity

If you lose access to your wallet, Glashaus cannot recover it. We have no ability to reset or recover lost keys.

4.2 Pricing and Payment

Pricing is calculated based on content size and storage duration. You understand and agree that:

• Prices are displayed before payment and are non-binding estimates
• Actual costs may vary based on blockchain gas fees and market conditions
• Payment is processed via blockchain transaction (USDC on Base/Sepolia)
• All prices are in USDC and subject to market fluctuations
• Refunds are not available after payment is confirmed on-chain

4.3 Financial Responsibility

You are responsible for all fees, charges, and taxes related to your use of the Service. You assume all risk of loss related to blockchain transactions.

5.1 Glashaus IP

The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, are owned by Glashaus or its licensors. You may not use any Glashaus trademarks, logos, or branding without express written permission.

5.2 Your Content

You retain all rights to content you upload. By uploading content, you grant Glashaus a license to store, copy, and transmit the content necessary to provide the Service. This license does not grant us the right to sell, modify, or commercially exploit your content.

5.3 Copyright Claims

If you believe content infringes your copyright, contact us at legal@glashaus.xyz with:

• Your name and contact information
• Description of the copyrighted work
• Description of the infringing content and its location
• Your statement under penalty of perjury that the claim is accurate

6.1 Distributed Network

Content is pinned to IPFS, a peer-to-peer distributed network. Once content is added to IPFS:

• It may be duplicated across many nodes globally
• It may be indexed and discovered by search engines
• It becomes publicly accessible if someone knows the content hash
• We cannot guarantee its removal from the entire IPFS network

6.2 Blockchain Immutability

Transactions are recorded on public blockchains and are immutable. You understand that:

• Blockchain records cannot be altered or reversed
• Your wallet address and transaction history are publicly visible
• We cannot reverse, undo, or refund blockchain transactions

6.3 No Guarantees

While we make reasonable efforts to maintain content pinning and network availability, we do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted access to the Service
• Permanent storage or retrieval of pinned content
• Availability of IPFS network infrastructure
• Protection against network attacks or failures

10.1 Your Termination Rights

You may discontinue use of the Service at any time. Pinned content will remain available according to your pin duration.

10.2 Our Termination Rights

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Upload prohibited content
• Engage in abusive, threatening, or illegal behaviour
• Fail to pay fees owed
• Cause harm to the Service or other users

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Pinned content will be unpinned after 30 days unless extended. Your fees are non-refundable.
